Metal Gear Awesome 2.5 Metal Gear Awesome 2.5

I think I've seen worse...

... and that's the frightening part. While I do realize that this is meant to be a "parody", I think you're missing the point of the idea. You have simply taken the animations that Ergoraptor did and trivialized them. While the animation was not bad, the fact that you really didn't move the sprites much and the rampant overused presence of a penis made me gag. A lot. I was very disappointed by the entire animation and the fact that this has any association with Ergoraptor's work. The ONLY thing in common with the animations he made is that you incorporated similar-looking sprites and that the topic is (generally) the same.

Mr. T Vs Unicron Mr. T Vs Unicron

Rated 2 / 5 stars July 31, 2007

Hour-long credits?

I wouldn't say the movie was bad - what little I saw of it wasn't - but I will agree that you can't draw. XD However, if that really is your style, good job for sticking to it! Sadly, I couldn't bring myself to watch the whole thing right now, because the credits that I had the patience to sit and watch took about five minutes or so. I'll come back and watch the rest later - but my recommendation to you is to cut the credits time down by about half, if not more.

LITTLE KIDS SUCK MY DICK! LITTLE KIDS SUCK MY DICK!

Rated 0 / 5 stars May 15, 2007

.. I wasted my time downloading that?

Okay, seriously. What was that supposed to be?
Graphics: Not all that bad, considering. I liked the fade-in effect on the 'main screen'. But that was about it. The drawings were awful and .. Well, generally, it sucked. A lot.
Style: I don't know what style it was in and I wouldn't say you had any style in making this. So, no style.
Sound: I liked the music!
Violence: Wasn't any.
Interactivity: Yes, there were buttons. Yes, you could push them. The end.
Humor: I didn't see anything funny about this submission at all.
Overall: No content, nothing to grab my interest, nothing funny or violent, unimpressive graphics ... Zero, my friend. A flat, uninteresting zero.

F4Gg0T responds:

i'd like to see your drawing skills fucking faggot

Phoenix Incorrect Phoenix Incorrect

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars February 24, 2007

Seriously?

Graphics: Slightly more grainy than all of the others, especially Ashford's stuff. He didn't have a problem; why did you? But they're from the game so I won't argue with them.
Style: It's the typical Phoenix Wrong style, though your creativity points are lacking. "Phoenix Incorrect" was probably supposed to be a cute play on the original name of the parodies by AshfordPride; it isn't really cute at all, though.
Sound: Nothing matched up. At all. And some of the clips were incomprehensible.
Violence: There wasn't any.
Interactivity: None.
Humor: Vaguely amusing, but nothing compared to some of the other stuff that's out there.
Overall: There are a lot of problems with this submission. If you're going to go for something less risqué like you did, which is ballsy I must admit because it won't appeal to as many members of the audience, you need to make sure that you don't skimp on the details - recording volumes, synching, and even choice of clip can make all the difference when dealing with a potentially more difficult crowd. With some work, you could probably make a few great "family-friendly" submissions in the future.

Foamy Fucks Germaine Foamy Fucks Germaine

Rated 3.5 / 5 stars December 18, 2006

Heh!

Foamy lacked arms at very crucial points. XD Hilarious otherwise - you might have sped the audio up a bit too much, though, as Foamy isn't typically that difficult to understand in the actual comics.

What Game Is It? What Game Is It?

Rated 0.5 / 5 stars December 18, 2006

Not impressed.

Graphics: It looked like the entire thing was assembled very quickly. I wasn't impressed.
Style: Great, other than the spelling errors ("obviouse"?). It's a good idea, but the tiny buttons and the annoyance of getting my mouse positioned *just right* to even be able to see the hints ruined it. Also, while the questions are great, anybody playing a translation of any of the games won't know the exact quotes as you have them written.
Sound: What sound? My volume's up, the sound was turned on, and there was nothing.
Violence: None.
Interactivity: If you're capable of clicking the itty bitty little buttons, then I guess you can play, or something.
Humor: It wasn't funny.
Overall: This game could have a lot of potential if you'd do more work on it. I would consider resubmitting at a later date.

evil ice-cream evil ice-cream

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars December 12, 2006

Good try?

Graphics: I don't see how that took you 35 hours or whatever to draw. It was a very basic style and the quality of the actual movie was VERY low - it was difficult at times to see what I was even looking at.
Style: I guess.. It was okay? Short and to the point, that's for sure, but I didn't catch the point while I was trying to figure out what I was looking at.
Sound: The music was tinkly. I'm not pleased by tinkly music.
Violence: Wasn't any.
Interactivity: Wasn't any. Not even a play button, which would have been nice.
Humor: It was mildly amusing but nothing to laugh at.
Overall: Not impressed. You've got potential; put it to good use on another attempt.

DustyDiamands responds:

The reason it took roughly 35 hours is because of planing out each sequece and then scanning it to see if it will work. If not then you have to add more inbetweens and what not in regards to the situation. I also had to basically draw the images twice because I had to lay down the idea with the color red which you can see in it. then finalize it with black to make it stand out. As far as quality goes in how well you see it I apalogize for that if you could tell me where to get some tutorials on making play buttons and that other jazz I will do it and update it with better quality picture as well.

Love Lies Bleeding(jon) Love Lies Bleeding(jon)

Rated 1 / 5 stars December 11, 2006

WTF?

Graphics: The quality was at least acceptable but unimpressive and at best childish. I think much more time could have been taken with the animation.
Style: This was probably the most pathetically emo thing I have ever seen, and that really makes me feel sorry for you.
Sound: Instead of putting in voices, you scrawled words on the screen that were difficult to read and often went by too fast while I was trying to decypher your unintelligable penmanship. Subtitles would have been fine but voices would have been great. The music was also just about as emo as it gets. I was honestly impressed that there was noise for the gunshot.
Violence: I don't think that a badly-animated cell of a semi-stick man shooting himself in the head so his eyes can become x's is really violence.
Interactivity: There wasn't any.
Humor: It wasn't funny.
Overall: Try again. I'm sure that if you worked at it and tried for something a little less emo and a little more structured, you would have a great story. It was interesting, but it needs a LOT of work.

FB crosses the street FB crosses the street

Rated 2.5 / 5 stars December 5, 2006

Not half bad, but not half good.

Graphics: Okay, well, they weren't that bad, really. The disappointing thing was that you reused a lot of frames instead of drawing new ones - so the graphics weren't bad, but they were repeated a lot. Laziness.
Style: Not bad? It was funny, I suppose.
Sound: Repeated music, but it was audible without being too loud, and the music choices didn't suck completely.
Violence: For some reason, the short fight scene didn't really strike me as 'violent'. It was amusing, though. Not bad.
Interactivity: What interactivity? XD
Humor: Vaguely amusing, even though I don't know what this is referring to. Might just be that I'm out of the loop.
Overall: Funny, but not as good as it could have been. Your animation's good, but don't be so lazy with frames.

keicho responds:

was done during my spare time. Check my animation halloween critters if you are looking for quality.

Kramer Tirade Soundboard Kramer Tirade Soundboard

Rated 1.5 / 5 stars December 5, 2006

Not impressed.

Graphics: The buttons were placed randomly and were different sizes. The colors were annoying and the screen was nearly too small for everything that was crammed into it. The "extras" were difficult to read, if not often impossible, because of graphics quality.
Style: Overall not a bad idea, but it was messy.
Sound: Audio clips were sub-par, messy, and difficult to understand. Probably recorded too loudly, and massive amounts of background noise mean it's hard to tell what he's saying at any point in time.
Violence: None, unless you count cursing. Which I don't.
Interactivity: Well, you could click buttons to make it do things. But past that, it wasn't interactive at all.
Humor: Some of the quotes were funny, most weren't.
Overall: Work on your audio quality and graphics. There are so many soundboards out now that if you want to have a chance, you have to make a great one that will stand out the first time around. I wish you better luck in the future.

Gangsta-Goat responds:

First off all, moron, have you even heard the damn tirade tape. The audio is from a shitty cell phone AND PEOPLE ARE YELLING AND SCREAMING IN THE BACKGROUND. Do us all a favor and kill yourself to save us from your seed.
